I'm fascinated by the unpredictable results created when dyeing fabric using ice. This ice-dyed mandala reminded me of the circle of life in which insects play a vital role. Here, beetles, praying mantis, ladybugs, cockroaches, caterpillars, and damselflies add to the geometric nature of the mandala on which they are dancing.
