When you have a hammer attached to yourself, everything starts to look like it needs to be obliterated.

Egg is Lappi’s latest animated short, and another surreal 3D-to-2D style animation done in Blender. It stars a robot with a hammer, who finds a mysterious giant egg. It seems clear what needs to happen, but maybe the outcome is not what the robot hopes for.

Egg features similar techniques to Ball Doggy, with the addition of fluid simulations. For the creator personally, it’s also an important exercise in character rigging.
