Der Stoff , der die Welt zusammenhält. Er ist universell. Wasserstoff ist das häufi gste und für alles Leben bedeutsamste
chemische Element im Universum. In diesem Sinn hält Wasserstoff die Welt zusammen.
Ökologie erforscht die Zusammenhänge – vom griechischen oikos: das Haus.
In meiner Arbeit ist „Haus“ in Form eines groben Grundrisses / einer Grundfl äche eines (real geplanten) Gebäudes
abstrakt symbolisiert. Die braun-schwarz-erdfarbige Fläche zeigt die Basis, auf der jedes Haus steht.
Der Grundriss nimmt fast die ganze Fläche des Bildes ein. Dadurch soll die umfassende Bedeutsamkeit des ökologischen
Projekts zum Ausdruck kommen. Ökologie liefert zu dem Sinn, dass vom Eigenheim zum Welt-Bau nur ein Schritt
ist: seine Architektur, die Statik, seine Verbindungen, den Zusammenhalt.
Den Zusammenhalt sehe ich in dem universellen, alles durchdingenden Element: Wasser. Ich habe Wasser, Wasseradern,
Ströme als Linien dargestellt. Sie gleichen Schnüren, die sich über alles erstrecken nicht einschnürend, sondern
locker, aber bestimmt umfassen. Sie reichen über das malerische Haus-Symbol hinaus - in der Wasser-Farbe Blau.
Sie beschreiben Abhängigkeit und Zusammenhalt.
DESCRIPTION
The substance that holds the world together. It is universal. Hydrogen is the most common and most signifi cant
chemical element in the universe, essential for all life. In this sense, hydrogen holds the world together. Ecology
explores the connections - from the Greek „oikos,“ meaning „home.“ In my work, „home“ is abstractly symbolized in
the form of a rough fl oor plan or footprint of a (actually planned) building. The br own-black-earth-colored area
represents the base on which every house stands. The fl oor plan occupies almost the entire surface of the painting.
This is meant to express the comprehensive signifi cance of the ecological project. Ecology provides a sense that
from one‘s own home to the construction of the world, there is only one step: its architecture, its structure, its
connections, its cohesion. I see cohesion in the universal, all-pervading element: water. I have depicted water, water
veins, streams as lines. They resemble cords that stretch over everything, not constricting but gently and fi rmly encompassing.
They extend beyond the picturesque house symbol - in the water color blue. They describe dependence and unity.
