Silence II
40 x 30 cm (h x w)
Body Paint on skin/ Photography

After “Different” I wanted to further work with the relationship between nature & humans. Newell’s Ani-Human Series with the use of bodypaint & animals to portray her intentions inspired me. I used bodypaint to show the characteristics of the snake as well as to show that deep down we are all the same. Overall I wanted to express our inactiveness in preserving this relationship with the stillness of the photographs as well as making it seem like a silent accusation.
