This oil on canvas series explores the element of fog and its transparent properties. Combining transparent and solid properties in combination with complementary textures. A rougher, created with a pallet knife for the trees, and a softer for the fog created with a very soft brush. The play between the fog and the trees creates interesting gradients between the colors. A limited pallet with different tints of green and white allow for a very clean artwork that creates warm and cold atmospheres.
