Artist Statement

“Who is Behind the Tools,” is a piece of work meant to represent a character’s instruments of occupation, but what is that? This creates a story and allows the imagination and purpose of such a layout to take the viewer on an adventure into figuring out who this person is. Furthermore to investigate the question of “why?” There should not be a clear understanding for the viewer, I want the experience of this piece to differ from everyone who sees it.

Artist Bio

I am Myles Crosbie. I enjoy capturing the authenticity of the world, approaching each situation with a unique perspective.
My photography molds the everyday, with dark and moody elements to create a story. In doing so, I immerse my models and products into this environment to create an experience for the viewer to see.
