Artist Statement

The main reason as to why I take photos and try to make things like this is my passion in bringing out the beauty in things. There are some things that can only be captured by a camera lens or some things that can only be drawn out through the lens of a camera such as the fine details of a flower that would have been otherwise unnoticed. For this image I wanted to explore making a sepia toned portrait.

Image Description

A girl in a in a chair with one arm holding the other. Sepia toned with some film scratches over it to make it look Victorian.
