Scratchboard

A white etched out drawing of a frog on a black scratchboard, making it a very high contrast piece. The frog is situated in the center-right of the piece, taking up most of the area with some negative space along the top two inches of the composition. It appears to be submerged in water from the legs down. There are the wings and bottom half of the body of a dragonfly sticking out of the frog’s mouth. The lines used to create the water are very smooth, while rough stippling is used for most of the frog’s textures.
