Filipino boxing superstar Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao meets one of his boyhood boxing idols at the kick off press tour for "The Dream Match" against the "Golden Boy" Oscar De La Hoya on Liberty Island in New York, NY on Oct. 1, 2005. Pacquiao would come face to face again with De La Hoya and dethrone him on Dec 6, 2008 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Pacquiao retired De La Hoya on his stool when his corner threw in the towel before the start of the 9th round. Photo by JP YIM.
