Situated in Norfolk Island’s world heritage listed area of Kingston, this sheltered lagoon is home to a variety of fish, plus hard and soft coral. The sparkling turquoise water is safe for swimming – and perfect for snorkelling. Emily Bay Lagoon is probably one of the safest swimming spots in the world. Its crystal-clear waters are protected from the breakers and the Southern Ocean by a reef just off Lone Pine headland.
