Chemistry is a volatile yet beautiful science – and so are its women. Our lady scientists are sharp, overflowing with creativity, curious and unapologetically feminine. From my impressions of these esteemed women, I have captured a snapshot from the lab – where scientists play with and explore the very fabric of reality. Their work is a kaleidoscope of colours, shapes and textures that is every bit as playful as it is important. In this illustration I hope to express the bubbly-frothy fun that science can be, helmed by those with a keen, inquisitive mind.
