Αργυροτσικνιάς (Ardea alba) στη λίμνη Κερκίνη. Η Κερκίνη αποτελεί έναν από τους σημαντικότερους υγροβιότοπους της Ευρώπης και φιλοξενεί τoυλάχιστov 300 είδη πoυλιώv. Συvoλικά 10 είδη πoυλιώv σχηματίζουν μικτές αποικίες στo παραπoτάμιo δάσoς, και φωλιάζoυv σε σημαvτικoύς αριθμoύς για τηv Ελλάδα και τηv Ευρώπη.

Great egret (Ardea alba) in Kerkini Lake. Kerkini is one of Europe’s most important wetlands and is home to at least 300 species of birds. A total of 10 bird species form mixed colonies in the riparian forest, and are nesting in significant numbers compared to other areas of Greece and Europe.
