Αυγά εντόμου της οικογένειας Chrysopidae στην περιοχή του Όρους Βούρινος. Ο Βούρινος -ή Μπούρινος για την περιοχή της Σιάτιστας- είναι ένα από τα σπουδαιότερα βουνά της δυτικής Μακεδονίας. Καλύπτεται κυρίως από δάση φυλλοβόλων πλατύφυλλων, δάση κωνοφόρων, θαμνώνες και λιβάδια, ενώ φιλοξενεί πληθώρα φυτών από τα οποία 4 είναι στενοενδημικά, δηλαδή φυτρώνουν μόνο εκεί και πουθενά αλλού στον κόσμο, καθώς και 39 είδη πουλιών και πολλά είδη θηλαστικών.

Eggs of an insect from the Chrysopidae family, in Vourinos mountain. Vourinos -or Burinos as it is called in Siatista region- is one of Western Macedonia's most important mountains. It is mainly covered in deciduous forests, coniferous forests, shrubs and meadows, and it hosts a variety of plants, 4 of which are endemic, meaning they can only be found in this area and nowhere else in the world! The area also hosts 39 species of birds and many mammals.
