This piece is a diorama and sculptural investigation of the character, Mother, from the Grimm’s fairytale, “The Juniper Tree.”
Items in the box are made primarily from porcelain, the box itself is built from pine, and the goose on top of the box is
porcelain and gold resin. Symbolic items inside the box include a dress, window, apple, two knives, and blood in a small patch
of snow.
