The Kingdom of The Cats , 2016
100 x 120 cm (h x w)
Acrylic on canvas

Kettuki chose this work to the front cover of the EOA-conference program. It was the beginning of March 2022. The war had broken out in Europe.
Artist Aleksi Pietikäinen loves cats and dogs, music, art making and everyday life with important items. In the Kingdom of The Cats, the human part is to hover with his ideas in a hot air balloon in the sky.
This work reflects many concerns and hopes, what we are all sharing now. Brutality of the war, the need of equality and culture and hope for the future.
