In Indonesia, MAP has been working with young people in Jakarta. They are affiliated with Children’s Forum (Cipinang Besar Utara, Cipinang Besar Selatan, and Pademangan Barat) and non-profit organisations, such as World Vision Indonesia, Yayasan Bandungwangi, Yayasan Bina Matahari Bangsa and Red Nose Foundation. They have been using photovoice, digital collage art, comics, music, film and theatre to communicate the issues around them. Some of the topics identified include troubled families, intercommunity brawls, sexual violence, poverty, and environment. This room exhibits 4 photovoice works, 7 Digital collage art works and 3 songs created during the MAP phase one. There is also a comic booklet about the intercommunity brawl and a film about sexual violence created in the phase two. They are being used as research tools.
