MAP in Nepal
300 x 236 cm (h x w)

MAP in Nepal has been working with school children from Kanchanpur, Palpa and Makwanpur. They have been exploring films, dramas, drawings, and local cultural forms such as Deuda and Lok Dohori songs to raise awareness of issues around them. These topics include child labour, domestic violence, human trafficking, equality, social conflicts around the caste system and the stigma experienced by young girls related to sexual health (menstruation). There are a total of 35 drawings/paintings, 6 short films, 1 Deuda performance, and a flute performance presented in this exhibition.
