Biàncáitiān - the Goddess of the Arts , 2022
12 x 16 in (h x w)
Acrylic and Oil on Gesso Panel
[SF16]

Sri Saraswati Devi, the Hindu Goddess of the Arts, has presented Herself to me in meditation several times. But for this painting she presented Herself in Her Chinese version Biàncáitiān, which is the name of Saraswati in Chinese culture.
While painting I received a message: "She is looking within, connecting with the universal and divine energy flow, and emanating light and inner peace. She invites you to do the same, and helps you connect with your divine essence. Golden Aura of wisdom (a vision that has not yet been painted.) It connects with divine energy, through the energetic flow of the Flower of Life, which permeates everything in the Universe. The energy is being channeled and emanated by the symbol of the Seed of Life in your third eye (also not painted yet), the Divine Eye. Her hand is in a mudrá (position) of blessing and healing, emanating the energy that surrounds it to whoever observes it."
One of the meanings of the name Saraswati is "She who helps realize the essence of self ".
