One moment to have it all
In my shadows I must crawl
To the highest mountain peak
Where the breeze is what I seek
For it is always there
Waiting for a moment where
I touch my awareness to the god
That is within me and so above
I realize its not always god
That is with me at the top
I can find the divine mystery
Anywhere I look to see
In the darkness underground
Is where I feel safe and sound
For this is where I grow my roots
And nourish my sodden shoes
They have been all around
But only grow into the ground
When I meet the present moment
The ever unfolding place
Beyond time and space
Traversing between realms
I’m one with my past present future self
This is my only prayer
That I maintain a gentle stare
Into the eyes of the divine"
