Early in 2020, a new, lethal, entirely new, highly infectious virus rapidly spread to every country around the world. Initially, there was no effective prevention and little effective treatment against the Covid-19 virus, and we began to see images of stacked bodies outside hospitals, on streets, in morgues and freezer trucks. Fields of freshly dug graves and hasty burials without due ceremony became everyday features on our tv screens.
