One Day , 2022
Graphic design in Adobe Photoshop, 11" x 17" (H x W)

The inspiration for this art piece was Erin Jackson, who is the first African-American ice skater in nearly 30 years to win the gold medal. My poster acknowledges the fact that many African-Americans are not celebrated due to the colour of their skin, but an Olympic Gold Medalist breaks that barrier. I want my art work to bring forth encouragement, to inspire many people, so that despite our world not being as colour blind as it should be, the viewers will believe that one day they too can achieve their goals, like Erin Jackson.
