My artwork 'Series Pink 1' is constructed with three parts. A female torso is on the right, a condom is in the center, and a male torso is on the left. The piece does not represent a conventional story of sex between men and women. Instead, the condom and the two figures are positioned at a distance, suggesting that men and women are far from each other and that physical contact causes suffering in this situation. Here, I want to draw attention to the pain and helplessness of a woman having to meet her male spouse in a loveless life. Pink is a romantic color. However, I used this color in my painting to evoke a sense of melancholy and suffering.
