Dieses Ölbild wird üblicher Weise dem Pendant "Bruckner meets Schubert" gegenübergestellt. Beide Bilder sind im Prinzip als EIN Bild zu verstehen. Obwohl im wirklichen Leben nie gegenübergestellt, finden beide Komponisten hier zueinander. Auf Augenhöhe blicken sie sich prüfend an, in Gedanken des jeweiligen Gegenüber und dessen Musik. Das Portrait des jeweiligen Komponisten ist in kräftigen Orangetönen gepackt, auffordernd und revolutionär.

This oil painting is usually juxtaposed with its counterpart "Bruckner meets Schubert". In principle, both pictures are to be understood as ONE picture. Although never juxtaposed in real life, both composers find each other here. At eye level, they look at each other, examining the thoughts of their respective counterparts and their music. The portrait of the respective composer is packed in strong orange tones, challenging and revolutionary.
