Coipn searching is full of surprises and can be a lot of fun. Not all errors are numismatic error coins. This is an example of the dreaded, but often interesting, PMD - post mint damage, which renders a coin valuless in the eyes of collectors but not in the eyes of coinologists who can be struck with wonder at the sight thinking "just what the heck could have happened to this poor coin???"
