HMCS DONNACONA metal ships bell, also called the ships company christening bell, was dedicated on the commisioning of the unit on the 26th of October 1943 and is displayed on the ship's company parade square. As per the naval tradition, when a ships company member celebrated a military christening for their child, the child`s: name, date of birth, and their date of military christening, is engraved on the bell.

Cloche de Navire
La cloche de métal du NCSM DONNACONA, également nommee cloche de baptême de l'équipage du navire, a été dédiée lors de la mise en service de l'unité le 26 octobre 1943. Elle est exposée sur le terrain de parade de l'équipage du navire. Selon la tradition navale, lorsqu'un membre de l'équipage d'un navire célèbre le baptême militaire de son enfant, le nom de l'enfant, sa date de naissance et sa date de baptême militaire étaient engravés sur la cloche. Les noms des enfants gravés sur la cloche du NCSM Donnacona sont énumérés ci-dessous.
