In the artist's own words: "I'm a digital illustrator who discovers oil painting. All my life I wanted to create something weighty, something that makes sense. It seems that I'm closed to that now. And the war added more depth to me and my paintings...I created this painting inspired by mystical images from Ukrainian folklore and a little from Scandinavian. I am a big fan of mythologies, so in this picture the images of the Ukrainian healer and Scandinavian Norns holding the threats of thime are intertwined. Where is this woman looking? Maybe she's casting a spell or maybe she sees something we can't see? Who knows. We can only peek a little bit..."
