This was my first painting of the deep water off the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet. This was my first painting of the ocean...in terms of waves and rocks closer to the viewer and the coast. I wanted to capture the ocean churning, moving, frothing and foaming. I was drawn to the silhouette of the trees against the “peach” sky and the ocean faintly picking up the light.
The Original is Archival quality Gallery Wrapped Heavy Duty Canvas made from cotton duck. Acid free titanium gesso primed. 1.5” inch profile professionally made from kiln dried wood and beveled stretcher bars.
