Freedom is Calling

Freedom is calling you loud and clear
But this time it’s not Paul Revere
For centuries there must have been something we learned
It’s time for everyone to be concerned
Deep down in our heart you know what is right
Even, if it means we must continue to fight
Our men and women in uniform sacrificed so much
So freedom could be enjoyed by all of us
It’s now or never, let us stand-up and be heard
Let’s take action now and don’t be deterred
Each and every one must help to lead the way
No not tomorrow but starting today
Knowing the right way to secure our future
To save our country and future generations too
Just look at that flag so gracefully flying
It brings me chills, and yes I must continue trying
We must defend it from those who want to take it away
Defending our freedoms will cost us more than we want to pay
Let’s open our eyes to see
That freedom unfortunately is never free
