My Identity

The many ginger pieces depict the days where I used to eat and drink them as Chinese medicine. The pot is an artifact from the Qing dynasty, a period popularly known for the conception and use of Chinese medicine. I have always disliked the taste of ginger, which is why the ginger pieces show my face in various negative expressions. Ginger is a huge part of my childhood, as my mother would push me to consume it for my health. The common ginger has played a significant role in my life and they are the metaphorical roots that have led me to become who I am today.
