The multitude of eyes against a bright red background, surrounding the subject at the center of this artwork symbolise the people that are judging or looking down at them. I made the creative choice to depict the subject skinless, with muscles exposed to show how vulnerable and nerve-wrecking it feels to be looked at and judged. I chose to use Micron pens in this artwork as it is a medium I am comfortable with.
