Images of Mary have been reproduced by countless artists. When traveling a favorite pursuit is visiting churches, to reflect on such images. The smell of incense, old wood, and dust, along with the vision of dappled light streaming through stained glass windows, and the feel of centuries-old, worn stone beneath my feet produce a tranquility that is inexpressible. Back in my home studio I work in peace - contemplating, meditating, praying, and interpreting these images as my heart sees fit.
