A friend of mine, Rev. Tijs Theijsmeijer, wrote a book called, Road to Holiness. One line caught my interest … I am in the presence of something greater than me. That puts life into perspective. The sun rises and sets without my input. The moon and stars shine down on us every night without fail. All my petty worries, my anxious grasping and my failure to relax in the face of problems are for nothing. Surrounded by a loving presence, we are all upheld by that same spirit.
