Artist statement: This piece, originally named “Trash” speaks to the blessing that it is to live in a nation where I can share my talents with the world. Composed of trash, in it I look up, hopeful and as long as my focus stays on my Father who created me I know that I can accomplish anything. I grew up with an absent father and an abusive mother and I believed that I was “Trash,” because they told me that I was. But I don’t believe that anymore!

Artist description: My goal in everything is to express to everyone in this world that God loves them more than anything!
