The Discovering Hidden Legends Campaign started in October 2021 and ran through the season until April 2022. Discovering Hidden Legends, aims to remind us all of the everyday members of our community that make significant contributions in their roles as volunteer surf lifesavers, ensuring we remain safe from harm at beaches across the country.

The campaign centres on a series of videos showcasing the stories of volunteers, with voiceover from former volunteer surf lifesaver and professional surfer, Laura Enever.

These videos were then hosed on the newly launched DHLSummer.com platform, as well as, distributed via social media, accompanied by a live streaming of the National Awards of Excellence (SLS Australia’s annual national award night) of which DHL has the presenting rights to four award categories.
