The focus of my work during Unit Three has been exploring the idea of destruction and creation through romanticism using different mediums. I’ve chosen the concept of creation and destruction and the mediums I’ve used in Unit Three to refine my idea for Unit Four. I have taken inspiration from William Wordsworth’s poems and the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine; in regards to how beautiful the world is in poetry and the horror of contemporary war, showing that there is only a thin line between the two; hence leading to my theme of destruction and creation.
