Performance & installation (videography, poster)

In early 2020, social interactions were put on a sudden halt.
Millions of students were forced to regress to their homes and replace all their social interactions with pixels on their phones. Social media replaced face-to-face time and eventually, we grew a little too comfortable behind our screens. Expressive faces turned frozen, and we replaced them with emojis.
The crucial element of non-verbal communication became both obsolete and forgotten.

This work reflects upon the expression of emotions through the use of emojis and aims to re-teach people on how to understand emotions in physical terms.
