Trichoglossus Moluccanus features a beautiful and colourful rainbow lorikeet, which is a species of parrot found in Australia. The birds rely on the Grevillia’s for food, taking nutrients from the nectar of the flower and feeding on the tiny insects that eat the flowers. Additionally, the rainbow lorikeets assist in flower pollination. They collect lots of nectar from the Grevillia’s, and help to distribute the flower seeds to expand the reach of the flowers. This is achieved by rainbow lorikeets from swallowing fruits whole and defecating them after a short period.
