MAGNES Trains Melbourne is an old steam train railway company stationed in Melbourne that has
become aware of the need to be eco-friendly. As a result of this, they have replaced their steam
trains with MAGLEV trains in the hopes of attracting people to a new innovative way of travel. On
the 11th of January 2018, MAGNES began a major operation to create a railway line from the
suburb, Glen Waverley, to the CBD, which was finished recently on the 29th of April 2022, for the
sake of incorporating MAGLEV trains. These trains use magnets which achieve a push and repel
effect that allow the train to move at high speeds.
MAGLEVs cannot function on normal railway lines and therefor the MAGLEV railway operation went underway in the year 2018 to create special railways that function specifically for magnetic trains. Their aim is to incorporate Magnetic levitation technology to transform transportation by making it faster, safer and more environmentally friendly. The project aims to provide services for users who want to be proactive about preserving the environment. Thus, MAGNES have adopted the MAGLEV trains to become more environmentally friendly and require a new corporate identity that reflects their companies’ philosophy of providing eco-friendly transportation. The client also requires a design for the exterior of their line of MAGLEV trains which are intended to attract people to the transportation service.
