... eggshells , 2022
stoneware ceramics, celadon glaze, installation materials, digital photographs

My Body of Work aims to explore something odd and uncomfortable in order to make the viewer think. The saying “walking on eggshells” is often said when being careful around someone or something. Family is often a concept explored with comfort and stability, but behind closed doors lies a mystery. By using my own family members faces, I was able to comment on the reality of most families. The uncomfortable, confronting and forced connections explored within the context of a family dinner. The presentation of the round table leaves no room to escape but to talk and communicate.
