Muscle Memory , 2022
digital photographs

My work follows the mind and body’s memory of trauma, often disfragmented and unique to each individual my work tries to explore the untold complexity of trauma. With the initial idea surrounding the work being significant moments within life; an emphasis on trauma was formed. From the unique nature of how individuals face trauma, I made eight photographs in which you can come up with your own view on trauma and the coping behind it. My work emphasises the physical and mental memory embedded with specifically hard moments in life, allowing you to make a viewpoint on trauma.
