This piece is of an abandoned building near the Salton Sea. There is a specific kind of desert architecture that you find near the Salton Sea. And because the Sea was built up in the 1960's you see many architectural details of that time in the houses. It was a wonderful challenge to represent some of that detail in abstracted forms of fabric.
