I dive into myself - self-portrait nº7 , 2022
Oil Painting

In the artist's own words: "I dive into myself, into the depths of an inner ocean. Looking at the light on the surface, the turbulent waves, the current and the movement of the water that seems to carry things lightly, but sometimes it passes strong and fast over my eyes. Current also that takes me far away, sometimes straight to the bottom. Alone in this deep dive. I find myself in moments of darkness when the light doesn't reach me anymore, feeling the pressure in the body, fear, anguish and loneliness. Immersed in the vastness of my dreams, drowned in my uncertainties, I sail until I anchor, I move to unburden myself and continue to navigate. At the bottom of it all, it's me and I in this sea of thoughts. Self-portrait about inner dives into my depths. Oil painting on canvas."
