“Tech-Artisan is a quintet of unorthodox business students who blend technology and art, creating as first work of art a one-of-a-kind karaoke experience.”
The starting point of the work is the famous and iconic song “I´d like to teach the world to sing” from the 70s which pictures a world of harmony, peace, happiness and love. With input from the AI-engine Chat GPT, the song is gradually deviated, and nature becomes substituted with technology. As a result the concept of living in harmony is being absorbed into a new digitally connected world.
Is this representing the current world we are living in? Is the overconsumption of technology bringing us to reality distortion? Most of all, are we all hypnotized and addicted to the technology we ourselves created?
