Dr. Paul Berg started in photography in the 1980’s with a art professor who studied under Adam Ansel in outdoor photography and later pursued photography under the inspiration of Robert Mapplethorpe’s in San Francisco and New York. In the 1990’s, Paul joined the U.S. military which became a 28-year career. He took photos throughout the world the next 28-years in the military to include four combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. After government retirement, Paul became a full-time university professor and photographer and continues to take photos. He now uses his photos to help teach the beauty of humanity. Paul uses his photos to tell the feminine story and researches about the discrimination of women in the field of adult education. Paul currently collaborates in his novels with women who struggle in their current situation of life through editors, artists, models, and photographers. Paul takes photographs for free for inspiring artists and models with dreams and aspirations who can’t afford it otherwise. A person’s world can change with just one photograph published. The greatest gift we can give are acts of kindness.
