The sculpture promotes the protection of wild animals, in this case, a bird, in a passive manner.
It depicts the coexistence of the two worlds, one is ours and the other is the bird, signified by harmoniously existing contrast of the curved lines. This use of visual elements was inspired by Francis Bacon’s portrait produced during the 1960s. However, the juxtaposition of the texture interrupts the unity created by curved lines underlining that the ideal of coexisting has mere impact on reality.
