12 years of war , 2023
99 x 133 x 2 cm (h x w x d)

Over the past 12 years, Syria has gone through various stages. The conflict is far from over and the situation remains fragile and volatile. The ongoing conflict in Syria has led to widespread displacement, the destruction of infrastructure and institutions and a breakdown of basic services. The war has had far-reaching consequences for Syrians especially on those who live in the northern side, with hundreds of thousands of deaths, millions of people displaced and much of the country’s infrastructure destroyed.
Let us take you on a tour to this virtual exhibition that showcases life in Syria after 12 years of war. Through the exhibition, we provide a glimpse into the daily lives, struggles and resilience of Syrians who are currently living in the northern side of the country.
