acrylic on canvas

The source of the inspiration were Otto Dix’s Self portrait as Mars (1915) and a prime number pattern in polar coordinates. The canvas presents a chaotic composition of colourful forms, along with a relatively dark colour scheme. Its non-representational form conveys a sense of discomfort due to its intense visual weight. The unlively head at the corner of the canvas gives two uncomfortable feelings in which either surveil the viewer or is the remains of a human torn by sharp shapes.
