In my opinion, people get scared of getting their heartbroken. In this piece, I wanted to portray what a broken heart looks like. Red represents blood. The aim was to make the artwork as raw as possible. That’s why I also added the drops of red to make it look more dramatic. Then outlined the heart with a black pencil. My purpose was to make the viewer feel the pain while they observe my artwork.
