Something that is also omitted in digital art is painting as a strenuous act. A peculiarity of many legacy works by great artists is also the technical simplification and their minimal physical effort.
In HRW's case, the energy thus saved flows into the mental, into increased concentration, and new, up-to-date themes are constantly added to those already existing. As with many mature artists, these are the great complexes of themes: Nature, harmony, love, happiness and the beauty - but also crises and international events, which are processed, or at least addressed in titles, allusions and scraps of words. The graphic summary again is the focus; HRW's most recent works deal with global thought and action, made visually conceivable. The formal language is again a novelty: geometric blocks with colored internal drawing are interlinked, superimposed and in chronology form the resulting series. What was initially the image of democratic, balanced global distribution has given way in the digital sketch '2022-075 Think globally act locally' to sharp forms that come across as electrified or with fever curves - a topical commentary on our existence.
