This photograph documents a performance in which Platnic lit seven candles and placed them evenly, three along each arm and one on the top of his head. Once the candles were lit, they were the only source of light in the dark room. His arms were spread out with the flickering light of the candles, swirling for several minutes, referencing a meditation ceremony performed by the Sufis.
